OpenNode provides two ways to move Bitcoin from your OpenNode account to an external Bitcoin wallet:

Scheduled Weekly Withdrawals
Scheduled withdrawals are an easy way to move Bitcoin from the OpenNode platform to an external Bitcoin wallet for free. You can enable scheduled withdrawals by navigating to the Scheduled withdrawals page.
OpenNode processes scheduled weekly transfers on Sundays at 11:30 UTC (Universal Coordinated Time). To stop scheduled transfers, simply disable using the toggle.
Users can select the percentage of the OpenNode Bitcoin balance to withdraw to an external Bitcoin wallet, from 1% to 100%. We recommend setting the transfer percentage to 100%.
OpenNode processes scheduled weekly transfers on chain for free.
The minimum balance required for scheduled transfers is 0.001 BTC.
On Demand Withdrawals
On Demand withdrawals allow users to move Bitcoin anytime via the Lightning Network or on chain. To initiate a transfer, click the Withdrawal button and paste in a bitcoin address or lightning invoice.
On demand on-chain transfers incur a 1% fee.
Instant Lightning Network transfers are always free.
On-chain Bitcoin transfer can be initiated any time. Final settlement time will depend on the Bitcoin blockchain. We have set up OpenNode withdrawals to settle within one block confirmation, typically resulting in a sub-10-minute settlement time. The minimum amount for instant on-chain transfers is 0.002 BTC.
Lightning Network withdrawals can also be initiated any time and are designed to settle instantly. You should receive your funds within seconds after completing the withdrawal. To ensure the security of your transactions, OpenNode requires two-factor authentication (2FA) for all withdrawals. Make sure your 2FA is set up and functioning correctly before initiating a withdrawal.

Insufficient Balance: If your balance is below the minimum withdrawal amount and you do not have a Lightning-compatible wallet, consider adding funds to your account to meet the minimum requirement.
