OpenNode requires all users to verify their account. You'll need to submit different documents depending on what type of account you create.
For individual accounts, you will need to follow the KYC Requirements below.
For business accounts, you will need to follow the KYB requirements below.
KYC Requirements
Identification
Front and back of your Driver’s License or the full main page of your Passport.
A selfie of you holding the same identification document. This selfie must be taken the same day as when you upload it for verification or a liveness check will be performed.
Proof of address
One document, which can be a photo or unedited document upload. This must contain your full name.
Examples include:
Utility statement; (must be within 3 months)
Bank statement; (must be within 3 months)
Internet/ Cable TV/ House phone line bills; (must be within 3 months)
Tax returns; (most recent fiscal year)
Council tax bill; (must be within 3 months)
or government issued Certificates of Residency;
another similar document
KYB Requirements
Proof of legal existence of the company
One document, which can be a photo or unedited document upload.
Examples include:
Certificate of incorporation;
recent excerpt from a state company registry;
certificate of incumbency;
memorandum/articles of incorporation/association/registration;

Proof of ownership
One document, which can be a photo or unedited document upload, which establishes all control persons of the company if there is more than one owner or the applicant does not own over 25% of the company.*
Examples include:
shareholder registry;
statement of information;
recent excerpt from a state company registry;
certificate of incumbency;
memorandum/articles of incorporation/association/registration;
trust agreement;
