With just a few clicks, you can create Bitcoin donation buttons on your website or app. "Donate with bitcoin" buttons take your customers to a customized payment request, where it is quick and easy to accept Bitcoin donations.
Follow these simple instructions to get donation buttons live.
Step 1: Go to Payment Templates
Sign in to your OpenNode account and navigate to Payments > Templates.
Step 2: Create a New Template
Click on "Create Template".
Step 3: Choose Template Type, "Donation"
In the next screen, select the ''donation" template. This will ensure that your button reads "Donate with bitcoin". Donate buttons lead to payment requests where donors can input how much they want to pay.
Step 4: Customize your payment request
On this page, you can fill out payment request details and (optionally) collect information from donors.
Step 5: You're Done!
You can now enable a clickable a clickable "Donate" button by copy-and-pasting the button's code snippet into your website.
